Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept insurance?
I am not contracted with any insurance companies. However, depending on your current health insurance provider, it is possible for out-of-network services to be covered in part or in full. I encourage you to contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for out-of-network psychotherapy services. If you do have out-of-network psychotherapy benefits, I will provide you with a Superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
Does my health insurance plan include out-of-network mental health benefits?
Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
What forms of payment do you take?
I accept all major credit cards as well as PayPal. I collect payment at the end of each session.
What's your cancellation policy?
If you are unable to attend a session, I ask that you please cancel more than 24 hours in advance. Sessions that are not cancelled over 24 hours in advance will be charged in full.
Where are you located?
Due to COVID-19, I am currently offering telehealth therapy sessions only. These are conducted on a secure video platform. I can also offer phone sessions - however I find that video really helps to re-create the "in the room" experience!
How many therapy sessions will I need to start feeling better?
Every person and situation is different - which makes this question difficult to answer in the beginning. I encourage you to reach out for a free 15-minute consultation and we can discuss your specific needs and goals.
