Greetings, brave seekers of personal growth! Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I'm so glad you found your way here. No matter where you are on your healing journey, I honor you for taking the time to ask the tough questions and to focus on yourself. As this is my first blog post, I will give a quick overview of who I am and what I do.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Los Angeles, CA. I work with clients across the entire state of California via telehealth, so don't be shy to reach out if you live outside of LA and my message resonates with you. I work with individual adults as well as couples struggling with issues including anxiety, depression, posttraumatic stress disorder, major life transitions (i.e. new job, new city, new relationship), relationship challenges, stress, and burnout.

Because we humans are nuanced creatures, I use a blend of "traditional" and holistic approaches in treatment. This might look like incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness techniques in addition to astrology, the Enneagram, Human Design, and mind-body interventions (i.e. incorporating yoga to regulate your nervous system). And if you're not into "woo woo" - don't worry, I once rolled my eyes at a lot of that stuff too. One of my strengths as a clinician is my intuition about what resources will be most helpful for my clients. I only use tools and approaches that have yielded powerful results in the healing journeys of my clients as well as in my own life.

"Human First, Therapist Second" means that I come from a place of collaboration and empathy instead of criticism or authority. Together we will explore your experience and find ways to help you feel more empowered, healthy, and free.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope you are excited to get started on healing your past, savoring the present, and shaping a future that feels aligned with your highest self. You can book a free 15-minute consultation directly on my website, I am also available via e-mail at and can be found on Instagram at @therapywithcharlotte. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

I love your “client centered” approach to therapy. How nice to collaborate with someone who knows what they’re doing, yet waits to see what your clients need before imposing some kind of agenda. Very refreshing to know, too, that your resources are ones with great results for many and for you. The unique combination of the personal and the collective brings the spirit of community into your work and that of your clients. Thank you all for saving the world.
